Essential Generics (Ess Gen) Group is an international pharmaceutical company specialising in the supply of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), pharmaceutical intermediates and consumable materials for the pharmaceutical industry.

We are looking for a Head of Business Development for the company's office in India, Mumbai, to oversee the company's operational processes and the development of its international activities in new markets.

Responsibilities:

• launching and optimisation of operations;
• developing new strategies together with the team;
• participation in international exhibitions;
• establishing long-term partnerships with new API manufacturers and representing their products around the world;
• developing strategies for entering new markets with the existing products;
• solving related project management problems;
• comprehensive interaction between offices in Moscow and Mumbai.

Requirements for a candidate:

• 3 years of experience in a similar position;
• experience in strategic planning;
• project management and the ability to build processes from scratch;
• cross-functionality and/or management of related departments (accounting, logistics, purchasing, sales, marketing, development).
• deep immersion into current processes to fully understand the scope and development strategy;
• direct interaction with the CEO on all work processes of the company;
• understanding of the pharmaceutical industry;
• strategic thinking;
• extraordinary communication skills for communication with colleagues and clients from different countries;
• fluent English; Knowledge of Hindi is a big advantage.
