E-commerce Specialist

How does the job as a E-Commerce Specialist at Rijk Zwaan Almaty look like?

As an E-Commerce Specialist, you will be part of our Commercial team. In your position you will be responsible for:

• the configuration and co-ordination of the Customer journey for our web shop;
• co-ordination and management of all local crop related content in the system together with Crop Specialists;
• management of Customer Service and support for web shop;
• creation, management and evaluation of online marketing and sales activities in cooperation with colleagues;
• being the first contact for all web shop related topics in the local organisation;
• the search engine optimization (SEO) to improve the quality and quantity of website traffic to a website;
• for customer behaviour analysis via Google analytics and Mouse flow;
• the test and implementation of new functionality in our E-commerce platform.

In doing so, you take care of the web shop, assortment and pricing as part of the country website, create content for web shop marketing activities in co-operation with the Crop Specialists and/or Sales Representatives, such as blogs, video’s, crop advice etc., analyze customer funnels, conversion and marketing investment ROI, explain, promote, support and train local colleagues with regards to online marketing and the web shop.

You are people-oriented, and you also can take the lead in collaboration to work towards a decision. You have an independent, open and energetic attitude and you like to work with colleagues. Despite the fact that a large degree of independence is required of you, you are a real team player and you find it no problem to work under pressure in a hectic environment. You posess an innovative and international mindset and have an open attitude. Given the international character of the position, a fluent English language is a must.

In addition, we may find the following on your resume:

• a completed bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Economics or Finance;
• at least 1 year of relevant work experience;
• pro-activity and self-motivation;
• good organizational skills and hands on attitude;
• good analytical and interpersonal skills;
• affinity with IT (MS Office, experienced in Google Analytics and Mouse flow);
• knowledge of 1C Accounting application will be a plus.
